summer nights

A couple of weeks ago my parents came to town for a little visit. The trip was dedicated to getting in all summer activities in the last days of the summer. First on the list was a picnic in the canyon. Liam couldn't get enough of Papa John and Grandma Marsha.

We took a trip to Park City to doing some shopping and sight-seeing. I wish I could load a video my dad took of Liam while we were at lunch. I fed him a lemon and he hated it but he loved our reaction so he kept eating him. His shivers of the bitterness were so funny...you'll just have to imagine.

We also went tubing down the Provo River. We did this a couple of years ago and loved it. This year did not disappoint either. The best part of both times is my mom. Just picture a woman paddling her heart out but no matter how hard she paddles she hits every single branch, fisherman, and obstacle in the river. I wish there were pictures but sadly there are none.

There were many nights on Grandma and Grandpa's porch.

Summer is the best and we will miss it.
