prayers and cheers
Dinner and lunch time usually go something like this:
Matt brings Liam to the table and puts him in his chair. We say a prayer on the food. I forget a few things so I get them and bring them back to the table. At that point Liam motions for us to say another prayer. Then just for the fun of it when we are almost done with dinner he motions again to say another prayer, so we oblige. They are usually quick prayers like "Thank you for this carrot. Amen."
And this is what happens if we don't oblige at the exact time Liam would like. His spirituality gets the better of him sometimes.
In between prayers, he likes to "cheers" his drink.
Needless to say, dinner takes awhile around here and Liam doesn't mess around with his prayers. That's a-okay by us.

d to the dash
A couple of weekends ago some girls (and Kevin) in my old ward and I decided to do the dirty dash. Go here to watch this video for the full effect of the race. It will convert you. To say we had a blast would be a huge understatement.
People dress up in whatever to do the race. There were nuns, dogs, clowns, and full body spandex nude suits were also involved. We couldn't run most of the time because we were laughing so hard. Well, that and my pants fell down during the race and I don't know how long they had been before someone told me. Oh dear. Mud pits, mud hills, army trenches, hay barrels, and a huge blow up slide down the mountain, basically anything to do with mud were just a few of the obstacles.
The before shot in our 80s gear.
I had the cutest cheerleader there.
And the after. It was awesome. Count us in for next year...who is with me?!

28 years
Happy birthday to Matt! We celebrated by going to the Oktoberfest but those plans were foiled because someone called in a bomb threat. We still made it a great day and did managed to fit in almost all the things Matt loves.
Matt LOVES all things Halloween so I made him a haunted house cake this year. This is what happens when you eat the cake before you realize your camera doesn't have the memory card it it. Use your imagination...

Happy birthday Matt! Do you realize that you're 2 years away from 30?! That's old. :)
