remember when...

Two weeks ago we moved from the only home we knew as a married couple. Can I get a halleluiah!!! We had a lot of great memories there, but we were long overdue for a move. We are LOVING our new place. Since we've been here, we've had some reminiscing "remember-when...that-was-awesome-Chris-Farley-moments."

Remember when we had our friends and family come stay with us and all the fun times we had. All the get-togethers, sleep overs, movie nights...

Remember when Bret and Laura asked us to babysit their birds? We went out for the night and when we came home we found that our whole house was filled with smoke. Our microwave had exploded and we thought for sure we had killed these little birds. They are invincible. Scooter had previously survived a fall out of a 3 story window with clipped wings. I think they are even still going strong.Remember that horrible summer when Matt broke his foot and was on the couch for about 3 months? And then I got e-coli, and then we both got the flu right after that? Yeah, that was awesome. Remember when we had dinner group every week? Our neighbors were amazing cooks and every week dinner was taken care of Tuesday-Thursday nights. Go to their house, grab your food, go home and eat it. The only word for this is magical.

Remember when we had a drug lord for our next door neighbor and then we had to move out twice because her drugs oozed into our apartment?

But I think the most important "remember when" was when we brought our Liam home from the hospital. What an exciting, scary, happy, night and it's turned out better than we thought.
