our weekend part 1

After 3 years and an 18.5 credit semester, Matt graduated from BYU on Friday, April 23rd. All of Matt's family (minus his brother-in-law), my parents, and the extended family were present at the graduation. So proud of this boy.On Saturday the Scott girls threw the baby and me and shower. We had so much fun and we got spoiled again. We spent the rest of the day celebrating my mom's birthday, spending time with the family, and talking about the next month we had to prepare for the baby. On our way home from being with the family, Matt and I were talking about how if the baby came the next day we would be in big trouble because we didn't have anything ready. About 3 am the next morning I woke up and realized my water was breaking. By 9:13 am Liam was born. Our families were leaving that day but we caught them just before their flights left so they could meet Liam.
Even though we didn't have things ready for him, all of that suddenly didn't matter anymore. Our life turned to helping make this baby who was a month early healthy so that he could come home. Words can't express the love we feel for him.

Oh, what a doll--and I mean a handsome doll.

Brad and I watched some home-videos of Condo Row. Made us miss that time. Hope things are well!
