We had a great week spending time together and weren't quite ready to come home. We took a day trip out to see the sea lions in San Francisco. We thought he would go nuts over them, but instead he was more interested in the birds and the Ghiradelli ice cream. Who can blame him though? We loved watching him ask for ice cream. Each bite to him seemed better than the last and he couldn't get enough.
Josh had his last Christmas concert as a high-schooler and we went to see him perform. It was at the Danville tree lighting ceremony.
And the light shone round about....
Thanksgiving was fantastic as usual at the Scott household. My brother and his family came over and Liam loved playing with his two cousins.
Since we weren't going to spend Christmas with the Scotts we did an early Christmas with them. I gave Matt and Michelle a childhood dream come true. Matching red dragon tshirts from the show Legends of the Hidden Temple. They use to practice every Saturday in their backyard just in case they ever got to go on the show.
When we got home we celebrated Christmas by going to see The Lights at Temple Square, going to the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas concert, frosting cookies with friends, going to the Thanksgiving Point lights with the Millers, and the Danville Christmas party.
The day after the party we flew to be with my family in Indiana. All of us were together minus my brother and his family. His wife is pregnant with twins and a couple of days before they were going to leave she started to have contractions. Luckily the babies didn't come but it's looking like they will come in the next few weeks making them about a month early. To say Liam loved this vacation would be a major understatement. Cousins to play with, grandparents and aunts and uncles to dote on him, and Christmas presents made him think he was in heaven.
The trip was packed full of activities like Jacobson Jeopardy, The Amazing Race, a talent show, Minute to Win It and lots of games and movies. It was perfect. The angel did not want to declare his good tidings
