indiana trip

A couple of weeks ago Liam and I went to see my parents for a little business trip/fun while Matt stayed home and worked hard for the money. (More on that to come.) Recently, Liam has been really into animals. His main communication is growling at you and depending on the severity of it, you can guess his mood. We decided to take him to the zoo and it was such a fun time. He couldn't get enough of it and we couldn't get enough of him.He missed his nap to go to the zoo. This was about 1 minute after being in the car on the way home.
99% of the trip was Liam reacting to the animals like this.

Part of the trip was for me to get trained for a new job that I am starting. I get to work with PAWS which is the company of the creator of Garfield. My mom does consulting for them and needed some extra help. I'll be working to help put together a program for Migrant children that's going to be nationally launched. I get to work during nap-times and bed-time so it's really the best of both worlds. Their headquarters are in the town my parents live in and so I got to see all of their products they have ever made. There is a room with THOUSANDS of Garfield products. Bath mats, binkies, really weird shirts, cake with hard-boiled eggs in them in the shape of Garfield are to name just a few.

We had such a great time and hope to go back soon!

What an exciting adventure for you and your family. When are you starting? Do you plan on moving too or is it a long distance job???

That little Liam is so cute. It was fun to see your parents in the picture too, it seems like a year ago we were all in MO together staying up late and talking. :) I guess we're real grown-ups now. ha.

Hope you guys are doing well!
