We're Coming to America

4th of July weekend is one of my favorite holidays, only second to Christmas. A few facts: I love parades. I love the 4th. I love fireworks. I love my birthday. Put them all together (as it has been for the past 24 years) and the weekend will knock your socks off. The 5th is my birthday which means this year it was 3 days straight of partying. On Saturday we ventured out to see the fireworks and were excited to see how Liam would react to them but this is all he wanted to do.On Monday they had the parade. Did you know that they had the parade just for my birthday? After the parade we ventured over to the freedom festival and checked out some local vendors and boutiques. Some gems included being able to take your picture with the Star War cast and buying sketched pictures of David Archuletta. Matt wouldn't let me do either even though it was my birthday. After the festival we headed to the pool, got some of The Chocolate's incredible chocolate cake, and then out to dinner for a little Indian food. As always it was a great 4th and an even better 5th.

You look so beautiful Megan. Loving the hair color right now. And Liam is a little precious pants.

How funny, I was just going to say how great your hair looks, too! I'm liking the dark. Glad to see your birthday was up to snuff (is that a saying?) once again.
