- Matt's grandma is related to the royal family of Spain. I think we should have a family reunion at their house.
- One of Matt's ancestors when he was a young boy, watched his dad get killed because he was Mormon. After he escaped being killed he got on a boat, sailed to the US, and joined up with the Saints here.
- My great, great, great, etc grandmother is Pocahontas. You can now call me Princess Pocamegus.
- I am related to a lady named Fanny Longbottom. Yes, you heard me right. Maybe that means that I am now related to Neville Longbottom?
- My Grandpa's grandfather lost his leg in a gun fight that he had with Jesse James when Jesse robbed the Springville, Utah bank.

Family Ancestors
Today over lunch Matt and I were discussing our ancestors because today is Pioneer day here in Utah. I was asking Matt who were some interesting people that he was related to and this is what we came up with:

Betsy Ross is my great great (etc) grandmother! I wish I could sew like she did.
My ancestors are mostly slave owners :( but I can claim Sir Francis Drake! And Chad's great (great great?) grandpa has stories of getting into fights with Brigham Young. I love hearing about those stories.

no way! you're related to Princess Letizia and Prince Phillip!? ang that is awesome. They got married while I was serving in Barcelona and the entire country shut down... talk about crazyness. I guess they forgot to send you an invite to the family dinner?
