Christmas

This year we had a lovely Christmas season. Matt and I got the best of both worlds. My family came out before Christmas and I got to see my parents and my two sister's and their families. For Christmas break Matt and I were able to go to California to be with his family and we also got to see my brother and his cute family that also live out in the bay area. Our holiday season started out with a trip to "This is the Place Monument" where we got to see what an old fashioned Christmas was like. Matt found a gold mine in the hat shop... We went to Temple Square for dinner at The Roof. Family, great conversation, and incredible food are some of our favorite things. My sister and her family stayed with us a few days before they spent Christmas with her in-laws. My two sisters and their husbands went on a little over night trip without the kids, so Matt and I got to watch them. We spoiled them rotten with letting them play in the snow for hours, no naps, happy meals, all the movies they wanted (except when we had to turn off Bambi that my mom put on for them because she forgot about a certain part of the movie), popcorn, wrestling, and lots of love.
Christmas in California was a blast and Santa spoiled us rotten. Matt and I found a new love...Rockband.
Since I was a little girl I've never been able to sleep on Christmas Eve. It use to be because I was so excited, now it's proving a tradition that I get sick and am up all night watching Christmas movies to help me sleep.
Matt got this for Christmas and now I call it the other woman...We had so much fun with the Scott family, and were so lucky when Nicole and Chris came home from Europe and surprised us. Matt was so surprised he didn't even know he was surprised. We spent New Years with the Millers and having double shot basketball competitions. We also made some New Year's resolutions, I guess we know the Miller's resolution?????

Sorry we missed you guys when we were there! What is it about the holidays and being sick?! Our whole drive home last Friday was filled with sickness. Disgusting. Anyway, tell us next time you are in Danville and we will drive down and play some games!!
